Wan-Bissaka & 6 more Man United players whose contracts expire in 15 months

Man United have one of the biggest wage bills in European football and quite a few players with high salaries in the squad.

While the club tends to secure its key players to long-term deals, there are quite a few players whose contracts are nearing close to expiring.

Here are the players whose contracts will expire at the end of June, 2025.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka: Man United automatically activated a clause in Wan-Bissaka’s deal to take it up to 2025 last year. However, talks are yet to start between the two parties over potentially extending the deal well beyond that.

Scott McTominay: McTominay’s current deal expires next June, but the club has an option to trigger a clause to further extend it to 2026. There have been rumours that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has approved a new and improved contract for the Scottish midfielder with improved wages.

Harry Maguire: Like McTominay, Maguire’s deal also enables Man United to trigger an automatic extension clause to 2026. With persistent links about West Ham United being interested in signing him in the summer, it remains to be seen if Man United give him a new deal.

Victor Lindelof: Lindelof has been quite often in different roles this season. His deal also expires at the end of June, 2025 and with the Red Devils reportedly in the hunt of a new centre-back, there are questions over the Iceman’s long-term future at Old Trafford.

Christian Eriksen: Eriksen has recently voiced his displeasure at being benched for the majority of matches this season. With his contract expiring next year, it remains to be seen if he stays beyond this summer.

Amad Diallo: Amad is over the moon after scoring the winner against Liverpool and his contract expires next year too. However, Man United have the option to extend it to 2026 – but Amad will be striving for a bigger contract and a more prominent role in the team going forward.

Willy Kambwala: The French centre-back made his debut earlier this season and proven to be one for the future. With his contract expiring next year, it remains to be seen when or if Man United give him a new long-term deal.
