Kobbie Mainoo wins England Player of the Match for heroics vs Belgium

Kobbie Mainoo may have just bagged a spot for himself on England's plans for the upcoming Euro 2024.

The Manchester United midfielder made his senior debut for the Three Lions in the friendly against Brazil.

On Tuesday, he started in the 2-2 draw with Belgium and put up a solid performance.

Mainoo played a role in the build-up to Ivan Toney's goal from the penalty spot. He was also calm in possession and could have easily scored a goal but, unfortunately, his effort was denied.

As recognition for his incredible work, Mainoo was awarded the Player of the Match award - much-deserved, we must say.

The 18-year-old is now due to return to Manchester and prepare for the upcoming Premier League clash with Brentford.
