Alejandro Garnacho had quite an eventful outing for Man United in the 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday (May 12).
He was actually really proactive down the left, asking for the ball all the time and showing fearlessness in darting towards the opposition box.
Garnacho went past Ben White multiple times, but couldn’t really create anything big or really test David Raya’s goal.
After the game, Man United fan Alex had an interesting way to sum up Garnacho as a player right now as he remarked: “He looks like a high-risk high reward type of player, Vinicius style. If his dribbles/runs/shots/whatever don't work, he's a scapegoat with a 20% dribble rate and 35% pass accuracy, if it does he's a hero.
“But he takes responsibility and tries to make something happen which is huge in a clearly dysfunctional team like United. Yeah he has shades of pre-2020 Vinicius to him.”
Despite his consistency issues, Garnacho has still been one of the Red Devils' best attackers this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 33 Premier League appearances.
