According to The Athletic, a tier-one source, Manchester United have received a transfer enquiry about Mason Greenwood from Napoli.
Greenwood is currently on loan at Getafe but the deal is set to expire at the end of this term. The 22-year-old has bagged 10 goals and six assists across competitions this term.
He's not expected to return to Man United and will leave permanently. That's come at a good time as his form has attracted attention from top European sides.
Napoli won the Serie A last season but are set for a mid-table finish in 2023/24. They have begun plans to potentially replace Victor Osimhen and believe Greenwood is a great bet for their attack.
Getafe are also interested in a permanent transfer for Greenwood, with other La Liga clubs also monitoring the situation.
