After the first half against Club Brugge, Mauricio Pochettino made a double change, taking off Leandro Paredes and Georginio Wijnaldum and fielding Julian Draxler and Danilo instead.
“We needed more consistency, more solidity," the PSG boss told Canal +.
"We made way too many mistakes. We had to find a lot more fluidity in our game. We wanted to do it with Julian in this position and Danilo who had to help the central defenders a little more to build from behind.
"And Paredes already had a yellow card as well."
However, it turns out Poch's subs didn't work quite as he expected. The Parisians didn't pose much of a threat in the second half. Unlike the visitors, Club Brugge had more chances to grab the lead despite losing possession.
