Discipline concern: Four Madrid players got sent off in the last five games

It is fair to say that Real Madrid players have some problems with discipline. Gareth Bale has allegedly left the stadium before the final whistle on two occasions with the most recent one arriving in the league Clasico defeat a week ago. Isco got furious after being snubbed from the match squad to face Ajax that he was nowhere to be seen before and during this crucial Champions League clash.

Moreover, Madrid players are struggling to maintain the order even on the pitch which could now pose a serious problem. In the last five matches in all competitions, Los Blancos saw FOUR players sent off. The only game they finished with 11 men was the 3-0 Copa Clasico defeat already two weeks ago.

Let's take a look: at first, Sergio Ramos got sent off in the 2-1 Girona defeat on 17 February. His handball was punished with a penalty and a booking while he would also concede a violent tackle close to the end of the match.

Casemiro's dismissal is the most recent example of poor decision making. Against Valladolid, he committed a foul but then got sent off for blocking the opponent from taking a free-kick. An absolutely needless action.

Finally, Nacho could get a special prize for being sent off TWICE in the course of just 10 days. At first, he was booked twice for the similar offences in the 2-1 away win at Levante on 24 February which was followed by yet another needless incident of the unsporting behaviour close to the end of the 4-1 Ajax defeat on 5 March.

How should Madrid's disciplinary issues be solved?
