According to Marca and COPE, Nacho Fernandez is going to need around two-and-a-half months to recover from his knee injury. The Spaniard managed to give some satisfying performances during our recent La Liga games but was helpless against Brugge in the Champions League.
Here's the official medical report from Real Madrid: "Following tests carried out on Nacho Fernandez by the Sanitas Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to his medial collateral ligament in his right knee. His recovery will continue to be assessed."
We hope that this problem is not going to take him out for long. Nacho is incredibly important to Los Blancos and his latest displays in the absence of Marcelo and Ferland Mendy only added to the defender's significance.
