Real Madrid have 'five days' to convince Camavinga to come to Bernabeu

Real Madrid have 'five more days' to convince Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga to join them this summer, according to Diario AS.

Since the report was published on Wednesday, it's obvious that the time is running out and there are four, not five days left.

Here's how the source explains such an emergency: on June 22, Rennes begin their first training sessions after the break and the club owner, Francois-Henri Pinault has scheduled a personal talk with the 17-year-old over extending his active deal.

By the way, Henri-Pinault, who is Zinedine Zidane's close friend, is considered to be one of the key persons in the Camavinga saga.

The club's rumoured idea is to keep Camavinga for as long as possible. If the midfielder extends his contract with the French side, it will be clearly harder for Real Madrid to land him any time soon.

According to other reports, Real Madrid have already accelerated the talks and plan to come up with a €70m bid for the French revelation. At the same time, it is noted that the deal depends on the future of a few Madrid players who should leave the club to generate money for the Whites.

The most likely scenario is that Camavinga will come to the Bernabeu in 2021. Rennes have qualified for the Champions League and the youngster was said to have 'a gentleman's agreement' that presumes staying at the club in the case of a CL qualification.

Camavinga has enjoyed a great start to his senior career at Stade Rennais, making 43 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit across all competitions so far.

The defensive midfielder, who's very good at recovering the ball, has made the headlines after his impressive performances in Ligue 1.
