Benzema overtakes Raul as Real Madrid's second best scorer in La Liga

Bagging a brace against Elche on Wednesday night, Karim Benzema has become Real Madrid's second best scorer in La Liga history.

Raul scored a total of 228 goals in a white jersey but Karim has outpaced him with 230.

That leaves the Frenchman second on the list, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo..A significant distance behind, though.

As well as going second in Madrid’s history books, Benzema also made it into the 5th on the all-time scorers in the Spanish top tier.
