Lunin explains his 'Mafioso' nickname — Ramos gave it to him

Andriy Lunin is called 'Mafioso' in the Real Madrid locker room. The goalkeeper previously explained the origins of it.

"There is a Ukrainian or Russian mafia and I'm from there [Eastern Europe]," the 25-year-old said, as quoted by Sports.

"Once I bought an all-black suit. I enter the dressing room and Ramos and Modric are there. Sergio told me: 'Mafioso'. Since then, I've been called this way quite often."

The Ukraine international was a hero for the Whites between the sticks in the second leg of the Man City tie. He made eight saves during the game and added two more in the penalty shoot-out, playing a key role in Madrid beating the Citizens.
