Billy Gilmour had been tipped for a maiden call-up to Steve Clarke's senior Scotland squad for the Euro 2020 play-off semi-final vs Israel in March following his unprecedented rise at Chelsea, but the much-anticipated clash at Hampden Park was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.Celtic's Callum McGregor, though, is ready to welcome the 18-year-old to the squad and is confident that the teenager has the quality to play a part in the qualification play-offs, despite Scotland already boasting of established midfielders like Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Christie, John Fleck, Ryan Jack, Kenny McLean, John McGinn and Scott McTominay.
