'Buendia-Partey-Szoboszlai midfield looks pretty nice on paper': Arsenal fan explains how two new faces might fit in

Arsenal struggle to create chances from open play and this resulted in an almost complete lack of goals in the league.

Naturally, the Gunners have been linked with all and sundry when it comes to creative midfielders and our fan breaks down how two of the most touted picks - Szoboszlai and Buendia - would look in our midfield.

serks21: "A Buendia-Partey-Szoboszlai midfield actually looks pretty nice on paper to be honest.

"Buendia reminds me of Bernardo Silva. Hard-working technical players that despite playing on wing for most of their careers are equally capable of playing in the centre. This gives them the benefit of feeling comfortable pushing up and playing around the box in the half-space between the CB and the fullback which IMO is the most dangerous part of the field. Smart runs and play in those areas are key to cutback City.

"The only thing I’ve noticed from Szoboszlai is that his left foot is exactly as useful as Pepe’s right foot. I’m talking like every touch he takes when dribbling both in close and in general is with his right foot. I can picture the fans' frustration already."
