According to FA rules goal difference is still the deciding factor and if the points and goal difference are the same it is then based on goals scored. It’s only when points, goal difference and points scored are identical that the head to head decides who wins the league. Arsenal have to win the title on goal difference if the points are level because if City match us on goal difference they would win on goals scored.

If history is anything to go by next Sunday could be even more interesting. City have never won a league game at Tottenham’s new stadium and a draw would mean the league would be decided on goal difference. West Ham have conceded 5 goals in each of their last 2 away games but Arsenal have met Everton several times in the final game of the season and won them convincingly. We would have the 3 goals advantage so even if City win by 5 we would take the league if we win by 3.
