Bukayo Saka – 9
Saka continues his brilliant goal-scoring form and scored another brace in a clinical outing. Put away the penalty ssmartly in the first half before producing a smashing right-footed finish for his second. Unplayable at moments and tormented Burnley defenders all game long.
Martin Odegaard – 9
The Arsenal captain started things off nicely with a brilliant strike early on to set up a dominant outing for his side. Played a key pass leading to the penalty, produced a great assist for Saka’s second and ran the show for the Gunners from his no.10 role.
Kai Havertz – 8
Havertz was a thorn with his clever movement, playing a discreet role for the opener before playing in Trossard to earn the penalty. Then played a small role in Leandro’s goal before capping off a great performance with an amazing goal where he nutmegged a player before scoring.
Leandro Trossard – 7.5
Trossard lead the line admirably well for Arsenal, moving all around the final third to drag defenders into bad positions. Had a few iffy moments in the first half, missing some chances, but showcased great movement to earn the penalty and then scored a well-taken goal in the second half.
The Brazilian winger caused a lot of problems with his running and dribbles, producing a beautiful outside-of-the-right foot assist for the opening goal. Ensured that Arsenal maintained a major attacking influence through the left with his energetic presence.
Jakub Kiwior – 7
Kiwior ensured that Oleksandr Zinchenko’s presence was not missed at all. Not only was he defensively great, neutralizing Burnley’s threat through his side and making a few key tackles, but also provided attacking support with great runs. Played a nice pass leading to Trossard’s goal before showing brilliant awareness with a long throw in to assist Havertz.
