I actually would love Conor to stay and become Legend. But would not also go mad about the owners just because he's been considered a sellable product. 
In fact, Chelsea would still grow if he's sold without buying a replacement. I'm just saying. 

People need to be a bit rational at times. Football is business as well.

I mean we all know that it's business, but there's nothing more painful than losing homegrown players only for them to give out world class performances in the future.
Now, I understand this whole stuff about succeeding without the players we sell, but you also forget there's a possibility that we may not still succeed yet in any case. The availability of the players isn't what would make us successful as a club.
Selling an important figure in a club can be lethal sometimes, think of selling JT at the peak of 2010. You'd have killed the morale of the ones that looked up to him.
