Cillessen & other 5 main candidates to leave as Barca plan to raise funds until July 1

FC Barcelona have plenty of work to do until the end of June. With the start of a new fiscal year on July 1, the Catalans would be allowed to make signings. However, they still need to offload several players to raise funds and balance the books. Catalan top source Diario Sport believe Barca plan to earn at least 65 million euros through the player sales and name six main candidates to leave.

Barcelona put a huge price tag on the Dutchman: he has a 60million release clause which doesn't make his potential departure any easier to either of the sides. He is allegedly wanted by the Premier League and Portuguese giants. Moreover, fresh reports now claim that Valencia and AS Roma have joined the race for the Blaugrana second-choice goalkeeper.

The Portuguese midfielder is the second big-money departure the Catalans are willing to orchestrate in the next two weeks. Gomes enjoyed his season-long loan spell at Everton and could possibly remain there on a permanent basis. However, Barca would require around 30million from his sale which could be a huge sum for the Toffees.

The Spaniard capped fewer than 100 minutes of playing time after his January's loan move to Arsenal. It is true he suffered from various niggles, however, this blow only makes his future transfer more complicated. Still, Valencia, as well as other La Liga clubs, are interested in the midfielder. Denis has already admitted he would like to reunite with Marcelino at the Mestalla stadium.

The Brazilian had a moment to shine following Leo Messi's unfortunate arm injury in October. However, he was hit with the season-ending knee ligament tear. Apparently, Barcelona would rather sell Rafinha given his contract expires next summer. Sport believe there is a possibility for the Catalans to renew him and then offload on a loan deal.

Marc Cucurella & Sergi Palencia

Both players were on loan at Eibar and Bordeaux last season. Looks like Ernesto Valverde doesn't view either of them as a first-team member and would allow the club to sell them.
