 was seen with a wry smile on his face immediately after the draw was announced. 

Spanish media claimed he was clearly mocking Barca after his side helped knock out the Blaugrana from the competition the last time. 

Khan has since denied it, telling Bild: "This interpretation is really completely out of thin air. 

 left us for FC Barcelona just a few weeks ago. Now the draw brings us back together in the group stage of the Champions League. 

"I smiled at such oddities of football. I have the utmost respect for Robert and FC Barcelona,” the former goalkeeper added. 

Barcelona have been drawn against Inter Milan, Bayern and Pizen in their Champions League group for this season.

Bayern coach Nagelsmann wants to beat Barca again as he reacts to UCL draw

"Regarding the Barcelona match, the first thing that comes to mind is the confrontation with 

," Nagelsmann said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

"I hope we can achieve results similar to what we achieved in recent years against Barcelona."

Being drawn with Bayern didn't go well for us last season, as we lost to them 3-0 twice. The Catalans eventually finished in third place in the group and had to play Europa League.

Of course, there was the 8-2 disaster from 2020, but Nagelsmann wasn't at the helm of Bayern back then.

After the draw, Kahn said: "It was so obvious... so obvious. Of course, we'd get Barcelona in our group!"

While Barca's vice-president Yusted claimed: "No excuses. We need to compete against the big clubs with these players... We have a great team."

UEFA are yet to reveal the calendar for this year's Champions League, so we don't know when we'll face the teams in question. 

The Catalans failed to make it out of the group last season, and doing the same after the summer reinforcements would be a true disaster.
