'Who is really the regime's team?': Madrid suggest Barca benefitted from Franco's fascist regime in response to Laporta

During the press conference on Monday, Joan Laporta accused Real Madrid of being the team supported by Francisco Franco, Spain's fascist dictator in the mid-20th century.

In response, Madrid published a five-minute video in which they seem to imply that Barcelona benefitted from the dictatorial regime, mentioning facts like the club being saved from bankruptcy 3 times and making Franco an honorary soci.

The video ends with a quote from their late president Santiago Bernabeu: "When I hear that Real Madrid has been the regime team, I want to say 'f*ck you' to them."

The clubs seem to be in a direct war now and are deploying the prettiest tactics. For example, the video does not mention the suppression of Catalans, the killing of one of the club's presidents, or the bombing of the club's offices.

At the same time, Laporta was not entirely in the right to call Madrid the "regime's club". In a dictatorial regime, there are no winners except for the regime itself.
