De Jong catches FEVER

Barcelona have confirmed that Frenkie De Jong has caught a fever in the aftermath of the game against Girona.

The midfielder featured for 90 minutes in that game and was one of Barca's better players in the 4-2 humbling defeat to the Catalonia-based outfit.

De Jong was committed from the Barca squad to face Royal Antwerp in the Champions League on Wednesday which keeps him enough time to rest and recover for Barca's weekend clash against Valencia.

The Dutchman missed over two months with a hamstring problem and that explains why he's only played 11 of Barca's 20 matches this season.
