Van den Berg scores, Woodburn makes Hearts debut: Liverpool loan watch

Liverpool cleared a number of players off of their books, selling the likes of Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic.

However, a few players remain out on loan, with 8 of them featuring in some way or the other for their sides.

Sepp van den Berg was the pick of the bunch, scoring a worldie for Preston North End on their 3-1 win over Swansea.

Also in the Championship, Ben Davies and Leighton Clarkson were both involved in draws for Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers respectively.

Ben Woodburn made his Hearts debut in a 2-0 win while goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros was a penalty shootout hero for St. Patrick Athletic's.

Jakub Ojrzynski and Anderson Arroyo also got valuable minutes for their sides.

Liverpool's loanees will be hoping to impress and make it back in to first-team contention next season, much as Harvey Elliott did this season.
