Liverpool are definitely interested in signing Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni but as per the Echo, the player is 'expected' to join Real Madrid.
Reliable reporter Paul Gorst states that club sources have informed Liverpool that Tchouameni's agents have made their client's intentions clear.
He wants to join Real Madrid in the summer: "Tchouameni is currently represented by French agency Excellence Sports Nation and it is understood that ESN have informed Liverpool 's recruitment team that their client wants to sign for the 13-time European Cup winners later this year," the report adds.
Tchouameni made 35 appearances for Monaco in Ligue 1 this season and is rated as one of the best midfield talents in the world.
It's added by the Echo that no midfielders are expected to leave Liverpool this summer.
