Jurgen Klopp has dismissed claims that Liverpool can produce a comeback against Atalanta as they did in the 2018/19 Champions League campaign against Barcelona after being down 3-0 in the first leg.
He told the media: "What is similar? The result definitely. The performance not really, we lost 3-0 in Barcelona and people didn't know how and now we lost 3-0 at home and are now away, it's a massive difference.
"We are here and will try to win the game, that's all. That's what we should do. We shall see if that's possible.
"A lot of moments we had really good moments but they completely deserved to win and played a good game. Let's start with a much better performance and try to win the game and we will see how much time is left at the end."
Liverpool are winless in their last three matches in all competitions and need to produce something special to defeat Atalanta by a four-goal margin and move into the Europa League semi-final.
