Man United are looking to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, as per BILD’s Christian Falk – a tier-one source in German transfer news.
As per the German journalist, United are looking to sign him either this year or in 2021. But they will face stiff competition from a host of elite European clubs for the stunning German attacking midfielder.
Liverpool and Chelsea are their English rivals interested in signing Havertz as well. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also all named as interested parties for a potential transfer.
Havertz is said to be interested in a move to Old Trafford in the next transfer window. He’s been in excellent form for Bayer Leverkusen, which is the reason why so many clubs have ambitions to sign him.
The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals and assisted 8 times for Leverkusen in all competitions this season, with his goal-scoring ability and creativity getting plaudits from all over.
