4 off-the-pitch talents 'jack of all trades' Kai Havertz boasts

Kai Havertz has risen to become the most sought-after young talent in Europe after excelling for Bayer Leverkusen since the start of the year. He’s scored 6 goals in his last 5 games and Man United are now said to be interested in signing him in the summer or next season.

But apart from being an amazing footballer, Havertz is a really interesting person off-the-pitch as well. Here are a few talents which make him a ‘jack of all trades’.

Piano Player

When Havertz isn’t focused on embarrassing defenders on the pitch, he likes to sit down and play the piano. He’s explained the reason for taking up the musical instrument as a means to calm his nerves and switch off football on occasions.

He aims to master classical music and modern music eventually but loves to work on his piano-playing ability and relax whenever he feels like there’s too much pressure stemming from his footballing career.

Top marks for Geography and Maths

Despite blossoming as a first-teamer in Leverkusen’s team very early in his career, Havertz didn’t want to give up on his studies too soon. He was very good in geography and maths in school, gaining top marks for it and even practising it for A-Level.

Moreover, he actually missed Leverkusen’s Champions League Round of 16 game against Atletico Madrid in 2018 because of having exams going on back then. Of course, Havertz doesn’t get enough time to study anymore, but he’s ensured to gain a solid education background before delving into the world of football.

Wanderlust

Havertz is also an avid traveller and loves to roam around the world in look for newer adventures. He posted pictures on his Instagram last year when he was spotted visiting Donkey Sanctuaries and enjoying the summer messing around on boats and jet skis.

He also visited Dubai last year, where he took the opportunity to race around the desert. Of course, all that won’t be possible this year after the season ends due to the restrictions placed by the coronavirus outbreak, but it’s certain Havertz will start his travelling journey once deemed safe once again.

Harry Potter lookalike

While this might not be obvious in first glance, but watching Havertz closely makes it clear he is eerily similar to famous fictional character Harry Potter!

As a matter of fact, he himself took the time to dress up as the wizard during a party, even nailing the sign on his forehead! When Havertz tunes up his style on the pitch, even he turns into a footballing wizard.
