Man United and 4 other Premier League sides have signed up to create a breakaway European Super League, which will be a direct competition to UEFA, as per The Times.
It’s said that along with United - Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all agreed to create this new, separate European competition.
This comes as a challenge to UEFA, who are reportedly set to announce a new 36-team format for the future on Monday.
Man City are the only side not to have agreed to sign up for the European Super League – which is predicted to be a huge European competition involving only the best sides in the continent.
