'They're just not ruthless enough': Man United told they will never challenge for the title with Solskjaer

Speaking on talkSPORT radio, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara said: "The Aston Villa loss just shows how wrong Manchester United are getting this with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

"They keep sticking by him and they're just not ruthless enough. Look at their squad. Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo. You look at this squad and you think 'this team has to be challenging for the title'.

"But they're not going to be challenging because they can't win at home. The manager just isn't good enough. Be ruthless. Cut ties, like Chelsea did with Frank Lampard, be ruthless and go and win something because they're not going to do it."

Man United suffered a disappointing 1–0 loss against Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday although Solskjaer is hardly to blame for the result.

The Norwegian stuck with his best-performing XI and the Red Devils had a chance to rescue the point but Fernandes missed a penalty in added time by sending the ball over the bar.
