Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has officially left 

 after continuously failing to get the best out of his squad this season.

The Old Trafford board had to act following the disastrous 4–1 defeat away at 

 in the Premier League, the Norwegian's last game in charge.

And while it is reasonable to shift some of the blame on the Glazer family, one thing can not be argued with: the American owners have repeatedly backed Solskjaer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not the only member of the 

 coaching staff who signed a new deal in the past few months, the Daily Mail claims.

Michael Carrick, Kieran McKenna and Mike Phelan have all put pen to paper on three-year contracts for each just a few weeks ago.

If that is true, that was quite a questionable move from the club as Solskjaer's position had already been under scrutiny.

All the coaches except the Norwegian remain in place for now, with Carrick officially installed as an interim coach to an interim coach.

However, the next permanent manager who should arrive before the start of the next season at the latest will likely bring in his own staff.

That's why United face paying out millions to Carrick and the rest of the coaching staff who might not be part of the team going forward.

When asked about whether fans can expect any change on approach in 

 said: “We will have to wait and see. I worked closely with Ole and we do have very similar beliefs - we did as players and we certainly do as coaches.

“Of course I've got my own personality to Ole but we're very similar and that's why we worked together for so long. I'm not giving too much away about what my plans are but I'm very clear in my own mind about how we want to play and I'm looking forward to seeing that on the pitch.”

Carrick worked for Solskjaer throughout the entirety of his reign at Old Trafford and assisted him in setting up the Red Devils for games.

Let's Re-assess the Signings that came under OGS's reign as Man Utd Manager- Heaton- 3rd choice GK at a Good Premier League Level Standard (Incase of any injuries but since we have 4 GKs it would have been wise to either Sell or Loan out Dean Henderson), Varane- World Class Signing & one of the main reasons for our struggles this season is because he's injured, Maguire- (Bad Start to the Current Season- Overplayed and Mis-used by OGS- an Important Upgrade on what we had previously but we Over-paid for him which puts him under more pressure.... Don't forget he's playing as a Left-sided CB when we should be playing him as a Right-sided CB as he's Clearly Right Footed)& before his arrival Bailly was consistently injured and Lindelof was underperforming too alongside Smalling who was our Best CB at the time but was Terrible at starting Attacks with his build up play, Aaron Wan Bissaka- he's done a very good job so far since his arrival but I believe he's NOT good enough to be a Starting RB for Manchester United as he's NOT a well-rounded Fullback and he breaks down some of the Attacking Play we could potentially have IF he contributed more in his Offensive Output, Alex Telles- RARELY given the opportunity to play but whenever he plays LB he offers Technical Quality on the ball and Fantastic Crossing.... Needs to do more to improve Defensively but doesn't get the chance to play consistently.... Overall he's an Asset for ANY team team to have, Bruno Fernandes- WORLD CLASS & CONSISTENTLY produced in his Outputs and Mentality since his arrival (By far Our Most Important Player), like the whole team this season suffering due to the POOR Tactical Instructions from the Coaching department, Donny Van De Beek- Mis-treated and Under-used despite showing glimpses of Quality and I BLAME the POOR DECISIONS under OGS and his COACHES for making me think at the time that Donny wasn't a Special Player because he Clearly has GREAT ABILITY and to go through what he did he clearly also has a WORLD CLASS MENTALITY, Amad Diallo- The Potential to be a Special Talent- Always a Delight to watch him play when he gets the chance, Pellestri- Talented young player out on Loan, Jadon Sancho- WORLD CLASS young player Mis-Managed and Not used in RW by OGS and his Coaches but when he's used as that RW we can all see his Quality will show, Edinson Cavani- Been an Excellent addition last season with his Experience and Quality- under-used this season, Cristiano Ronaldo- The GOAT- Produces in the BIG MOMENTS when the team needs him to despite a lack of service into him- We must not over-play him and Rotation with Cavani is essential.  It's NOT a case of giving OGS millions to spend but the fact that he didn't get the BEST out of a Very Talented Group of Players.  It's now up to the Interim Manager and Next Permanent Manager to Resolve this situation.

In as much as he got some quality last summer before then it was just buy and burst without restraint. It was like the board was hoodwinked or bent on supporting Ole just get his wishes. He got AWB for 50m, Harry 80m(who Jose wanted for 70m but turned down), James 15m, Amad 30m in reserve, Pellestri Meghbri, and more. Were those players worth it as we see today. How can a 30m player be "rotting" away in the reserves.

We all know he was supported but in all I think he left a fairly good squad and do sincerely hope the board will support a new and better coach in like manner.
