'I can't see Man United causing City problems': Sagna predicts three-goal scoreline

“No. I can’t see United causing City too many problems at all”, Sagna replied when asked if Erik ten Hag’s side have any chance this weekend, before adding: “I can’t see anyone other than City winning this match. I think City will win 3-0.”

The Red Devils have won four consecutive Premier League games that include victories over Liverpool and Arsenal, although their city neighbours are a slightly different animal to those they have faced. 

And, of course, they have Erling Haaland, who already has 14 goals this season.

OFFICIAL: Ten Hag and Rashford scoop Premier League Player and Manager of the Month awards

Marcus Rashford has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September, it was announced on Friday.

Shortly after the 24-year-old's award was confirmed, Erik ten Hag was named the Manager of the Month after guiding Manchester United to four consecutive wins.

Rashford told MUTV: "It's a good feeling. I think we didn't start the season so strongly so to [then] get four wins on the bounce is really good. The challenge now for us all is to maintain that and to keep winning games. I think everyone's chipped in to be fair.

"The four wins have been good team performances and the important thing for me is that we've got better as time's gone on. Hopefully we can carry on that trend and keep improving. It is still fairly new with the manager. We’ve got much better at doing the things that he wants us to do but there are still lots of steps we need to take."

Man United kicked off the 2022/23 Premier League season with back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Brentford before bouncing back with four consecutive wins in the top flight, including victories against Liverpool and Arsenal.

I prefer to let these  players just run their mouths seems no one is respecting the front line that united now possesses ! Antony can score or set up goals so too can Rashford so too can Sancho and unless they take out Errickson he’s just as good as debruyne I don’t think city has that extra midfield player as good as Bruno so to me it depends on if mctomminay plays or Casimero! I think Mctomminay is the person who will be asked to keep Haaland quiet ! I think either team can win but if the united with that energy shows up they’ll be on the back foot !
