Manchester United vs Aston Villa and other 4 games you should follow on Premier League's Matchday 34

The games are ranked by their priority for Man United fans, kick-off times are BST.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2 pm). Two months ago this would've been an ordinary game between a top-4 contender and a midtable side cruising towards another unremarkable end of the season — not now.

Villa are unbeaten in the last league 10 games, a run that includes only two draws and just three goals conceded. They are the most in-form team in the league alongside Man City — Unai Emery has cleaned up the mess left by Steven Gerrard.

Liverpool vs Tottenham (Sunday, 4.30 pm). Spurs are falling apart as Liverpool are making a desperate lunge for a top-4 finish. They probably won't get there but never write Liverpool off: a win may see Jurgen Klopp's men climb to 5th.

Neither side will catch up with Man United yet even if Ten Hag's men lose to Villa but the gap would reduce to some 4-5 points.

Newcastle vs Southampton (Sunday, 2 pm). Newcastle are two points above Man United but with one game more played.

Southampton may be dead last but they have a tendency to snip points off top sides: Man United, Arsenal, Man City in the FA cup and, God forbid, Chelsea have suffered at the hands of the Saints.

Arsenal vs Chelsea (Tuesday, 8 pm). In another season, this would be a crucial game for the top 4. This term, Arsenal have not yet given up on the league title while Chelsea are not yet mathematically safe from relegation (the chance is <1% though).

Why would you spend your time watching a game that has no bearing on Man United's league standings? Because it's still Arsenal vs Chelsea and either the former will completely collapse or the latter will give us another reason to laugh about.

Leicester vs Everton (Monday, 8 pm). Okay, you probably don't care but the losing team most certainly goes down and whether it's Leicester or Everton, that's a big name out of the league.

The remaining games are: Crystal Palace vs West Ham (Saturday 12.30 pm), Brighton vs Wolves (Saturday 3 pm), Brentford vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3 pm), Fulham vs Man City (Sunday, 2 pm), Bournemouth vs Leeds United (Sunday, 2 pm)
