'I know exactly what he meant': Onana shows support to Garnacho amid risk of FA ban for 'gorilla emoji' tweet

Andre Onana has dismissed all speculation from fans that he has been offended by Alejandro Garnacho's 'gorilla emoji' tweet on him after the FC Copenhagen game.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper took to social media to clarify things and tweeted: "People cannot choose what I should be offended by.

"I know exactly what @agarnacho7 meant: power & strength. This matter should go no further. AO24."

It's quite clear that Onana has no issues whatsoever with his Man United teammate's tweet and has not taken it in any wrong way.

Despite all this, the Football Association are reportedly looking into the matter and might give Garnacho a ban for a tweet that is deemed to be racist.
