Man United announce record revenues for 2022-23, more details revealed

Man United have revealed that they made record revenues of £646.4m for the 2022-23 financial year, despite not playing in the Champions League.

The Red Devils earned £302.9m from commercial revenue, which means the club has gotten over £300m in sponsorship money in a year for the first time ever.

Man United’s matchday revenue also went up to £136.4m, £25.9m increase from the previous financial year due to their impressive campaigns in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup last season.

The Red Devils have, although, announced a net loss of £28.7m for the 22/23 year despite all the revenue. This is, although, way lower than the £115.5m that was recorded in the 21/22 season.

A reason behind that is the whopping £334.1m in salaries that have been disrupted to the players and employees of the club.

Moreover, Man United’s total debt is still around £536.2m  and the club is struggling to bring that down despite the record revenue.
