United in 'three-way battle' for AS Monaco ace

According to RMC Sport, Man United are in a 'three-way battle' with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

Generating increased levels of interest, Monaco may be tempted to offload Fofana in 2024, mindful of the fact his contract runs out in June 2025.

Man United are ready to battle it out with Newcastle and West Ham United for the services of Jonathan Tah.

According to a report by The Sun, United are keen on having Jonathan Tah in their ranks.

Lindelof backs Ten Hag to succeed

Victor Lindelof told FotbalSkanalen: "It has been tough, of course. In terms of performances, it has been up and down, we haven’t quite reached the level we wanted.

"And there will always be a lot written [dressing room unrest] about a club like Manchester United. Other teams have been praised for their start to the season, but we are still only four or five points behind, I don’t know exactly. It’s not terribly bad, but certainly not at the level we want to be."

Ed Woodward lands new role

Ed Woodward is back to work again, although this time neither in football nor finance. This is his first job since leaving his executive vice-chairman role at Man United.

As per the Daily Mirror, Woodward has joined as a Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Board Member for AI company SentientSports.
