Erik ten Hag has had a tough time at Manchester United, dealing with a superstar-filled squad.
From a fall-out with Cristiano Ronaldo to Jadon Sancho and then Raphael Varane, Ten Hag has had his hands full taming big egos.
Amad Diallo, who recently returned from injury, has shared an interesting insight into how Ten Hag deals with his squad.
Amad told club media: "Working with him [Erik] is really something that doesn't happen every day.
"He is a person who wants to work hard; even in training and when you're going slowly, he calls you over and tells you to go stronger.
"I like coaches like that, that let you know that you need to train hard.
"My relationship with him is a good relationship."
Not just Amad but even Diogo Dalot has praised Ten Hag for his management, regardless of what the popular discourse seems to be.
A manager must criticise players when they don't give their all - if their egos are too fragile to handle it, perhaps they shouldn't be here.
