It appears all is not well in French camp after Olivier Giroud's recent interview after the 3-0 win over Bulgaria.
The striker netted a brace on the occasion but said after the game his teammates could have provided him with better service still. Kylian Mbappe took that personally and even wanted to hold his own press conference, a request Didier Deschamps turned down.
Giroud approached Mbappe before Tuesday's training session to make up for his comments but Kylian remained in a moany mood. He did not lighten up even after Giroud's explanation that he was pressured by the interviewer and also had other players (N'Golo Kante and Benjamin Pavard) in mind.
Deschamps tried to cool things down by talking to the pair first and then addressing the entire group. Giroud forced a hug on Mbappe at the end of the talk but the PSG man remained unconvinced and annoyed.
