Speaking to the reporters on Tuesday, Thomas Tuchel said: "We have a slight advantage when you look at our experience in this competition.

"But to turn it into a crucial advantage, you need a top performance. It's not the norm to reach a semi-final.

"We have one game to take the next big step in this wonderful competition. We're ready to put everything on the table.

"If the experience gives us the extra five per cent, we'll be happy. This competition is hotly contested."

Arsenal face Bayern Munich away from home on Wednesday night in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash.

The Emirates showdown earlier this month ended in a 2–2 draw so the Gunners will have to be at their best at the Allianz Arena.
