5 under-radar transfer stories Chelsea fans should know about

INs

Jude Bellingham

Bellingham is one of Chelsea's 'long-term' target, meaning that the Englishman could end up at Stamford Bridge in the next two or three years (Goal).

Even though the 17-year-old is set to extend his contract at Borussia Dortmund until 2025 this summer, Chelsea bosses 'want to be at the front of the queue' for the midfielder when he decides to leave BVB.

What's more, the Blues hope to establish a close relationship with Dortmund while attempting to sign Erling Haaland next year so that they can facilitate Bellingham's move to London in the future.

Sergio Ramos

Ramos will be leaving Real Madrid on a free transfer when his contract expires on June 30, the club confirmed on Wednesday.

Chelsea have immediately been linked with the 35-year-old with fans loving the idea of seeing Ramos in the Blues shirt.

The thing is that Chelsea signed Thiago Silva on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer despite him turning 35 back then. Many doubted the Brazilian but he has gone on to become a key defender for the Blues despite his age so that could be the case with the Madrid legend too.

Eden Hazard

Hazard's €115m move to Real Madrid two years ago has turned out to be a massive disappointment for both the club and the player as he's scored just five goals in 43 appearances for the Whites so far.

While Eden's constant injury woes have been the major reason behind his underwhelming spell in the Spanish capital, the 30-year-old continues to be linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

Hazard, however, has recently ruled out such a possibility.

"It hasn't even occurred to me for a second that I should leave. I'm not going to leave Real Madrid as a failure. I just want to prove that I am made for Real Madrid," he told Het Nieuwsblad earlier this week.

Matt Miazga

Miazga is set to return to Chelsea when his one-year loan spell at Anderlecht ends on June 30 (Goal).

The Belgians wanted to keep the centre-back on a permanent deal but failed to meet the Blues' asking price.

The 25-year-old is tied with Chelsea until 2022 so it remains to be seen if he stays at the Bridge beyond the summer or gets loaned out one more time.

OUTs

Hakim Ziyech

Ziyech isn't among Chelsea's 'untouchables' with the Blues ready to listen to offers for the 28-year-old if they need to raise funds this summer, according to Calciomercato - not the most reliable Italian source.

AC Milan and Napoli are believed to be keeping close tabs on the Moroccan.
