Leo Messi — Inter Milan

• The Argentine's contract at Barcelona expires already next summer meaning that he will be able to join for free any club he wants.
• The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the 33-year-old and are reportedly ready to offer him a four-year contract worth €260m in wages to win him over.
• However, Josep Maria Bartomeu claims the captain wants to stay and will renew his contract at Barca.

Luis Suarez — Inter Miami

• David Beckham reportedly wants the Uruguayan at his newly-established MLS club.
• 'El Pistolero' has said in the past that playing in the USA sounds appealing to him.
• His contract with the Catalans also expires next summer but it will be extended automatically if he plays 60% of the matches in the 2020/21 season.

Gerard Pique — Vissel Kobe

• The defender's contract expires in 2022 and he might join his ex-teammates Andres Iniesta, Sergi Samper and Thomas Vermaelen in Japan soon.
• The Japanese club is owned by Rakuten, Barcelona's sponsors and one of Pique's business partners.
• Through his company Kosmos Group, Pique helped the Catalans sign the partnership agreement with Rakuten.

Sergio Busquets — Al-Sadd

• With Frenkie de Jong and Miralem Pjanic in the squad for the next season, the La Masia graduate could lose his starting role.
• Xavi loves having Spanish midfielders in his team, as he has already worked with Atletico Madrid legend Gabi; Santi Cazorla will join him for the next season.
• If 'Busi' decides to leave, his old friend and mentor might personally call him to join the Qatari club.
