Liverpool secure top-place finish in Europa League group

Liverpool have clinched the top place in their Europa League group with one game to go.

The Reds defeated LASK 4-0, while Toulouse and Union shared the spoils in a goalless draw.

As a result, Liverpool are four points ahead of the French side which is an unassailable lead at this stage.

It means that Liverpool will go directly into the Round of 16 without the requirement to play an extra round in February.
