Fabrizio Romano: Arsenal turned down Milan's offer to sell Saliba, consider sending him out on loan (reliability: 5 stars)

"Arsenal are considering to send Saliba on loan. Arsenal not happy with his situation at the club, just for the player," Fabrizio Romano said on Here We Go Podcast.

"AC Milan tried to sign him on a permanent deal but AFC immediately said no. They want him in the future."

After returning from a year-long loan spell Saint-Etienne, the Frenchman was left out of the Europa League squad.

Mikel Arteta explained that the 19-year-old needs more time to be ready to play for the senior Arsenal team.

The centre-back currently represents the U23s.
