RANKED: 3 best Bayern players this season — stop them and Arsenal go through in Champions League

Arsenal host Bayern Munich in a Champions League quarterfinal on Tuesday night, April 9.

The German team are having an iffy campaign, and while there are reasons why it came to this, we're not here to delve into Bayern's problems.

They still have outstanding performers in the 2023/24 season, so here we list the top three men who could pose a danger to Mikel Arteta's squad.

3. Aleksandar Pavlovic

This isn't a name football fans outside Germany may have heard, but the 19-year-old German with the most Serbian-sounding name has been a revelation this season, so expect the hype to spread outside the Bundesliga soon.

Pavlovic is a central midfielder whose role is to maintain the tempo and keep the defensive structure together. The latter is crucial, given Bayern don't have many dependable central midfielders (and before you ask, Joshua Kimmich is at his best at right back).

Pavlovic won the last two Player of the Month awards at this club, but if this doesn't convince you of the danger he possesses, see what Bayern fans say about him:

2. Jamal Musiala

The 21-year-old German is one of the few players who can hold his head high this season. Musiala plays either behind the striker or off the left flank, meaning Ben White will be a busy man on Tuesday night.

Jamal's 12 goals and 6 assists have been very helpful, and he's also third at Bayern by shot-creating actions (132) and successful tackles (35).

Musiala has one of the silliest touches in football, so no wonder his highlight reel is called 'best dribbles and solo goals':

1. Eric Choupo-Moting

Why are you so surprised? Don't you rate the priceless one?

Alright-alright, we hear you! Number one is Harry Kane. 38 goals in 37 games is not something to be sniffed at, and six of those were in the Champions League. He is Bayern's top scorer by a country mile — Jamal Musiala is next with only 12 goals.

Kane is comfortably his team's best player this season, though so far his goals have been good for nothing. Identifying the England captain as the main threat is easy, the difficult part will be stopping him.
