Barcelona sporting director Ramos Planes is set to extend his contract for two more seasons, until 2023, according to reliable Moises Llorens of ESPN.
Planes' current deal expires at the end of the season but Joan Laporta and Mateu Alemany, the club’s new Director of Football, want him to continue at Camp Nou.
The Catalans have signed Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Sergino Dest, Francisco Trincao and Junior Firpo thanks to Planes' recruitment vision.

Barcelona want to extend Ousmane Dembele's contract by three years, until 2025, according to Diario Sport.
The Frenchman, whose current deal expires in 2022, will have to accept Barca's renewal offer in the coming weeks.
As per the Catalans source, no the most reliable one, the Catalans will sell the 23-year-old this summer if he doesn't sign an extension soon.
Dembele wants to continue at Camp Nou but his camp fears that Barca won't be able to meet the player's wage demands, given the club's poor financial situation.
The Blaugrana's board also want to extend the forward as he's become a key player for Ronald Koeman's team this season but they will have to sell him if he rejects a new deal.
Sport say that Juventus, Chelsea and Man United are all interested in the 23-year-old.
