Man United were not at all at their clinical best in the 2-1 loss to Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday (February 24).
However, the roar of the crowd seemed to amp up the players towards the end of the game and Harry Maguire even scored an equalizer in the 89th minute.
Soon after that, a second wind compelled the Man United players to charge forward in numbers to get a winner.
The Red Devils had a big chance to score a second goal a minute or so after Maguire's equalizer and in stoppage time.
Scott McTominay was played through into the box thanks to a clever pass from Diogo Dalot and he had three teammates in the middle.
However, rather than lay it off to anyone else, the Scotsman went for personal glory and tried to take a shot that went horribly wide.
This poor decision-making seemed to really annoy all three of the players, Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof and Alejandro Garnacho in the box.
The Argentine star fell onto his knees in frustration, while Lindelof and Rashford both looked visibly upset at that big chance being scuffed.
McTominay is Man United's joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season (with seven goals) - but he has to be more aware in such situations because a better pass in this case could've led to a goal and potential win for his side.
